Attestation of Establishment Certificates and Commercial Lists via the Akkad E-Document System
This is an advanced e-service provided by the "Akkad" platform, dedicated to the instant and automated attestation of official documents that have been previously retrieved from international Chambers of Commerce systems through technical interoperability using the COC API, without the need for manual verification requests from foreign authorities. This service provides significant facilitation for Iraqi companies, importers, and exporters, as the authenticity of documents is automatically verified based on the integration of digital systems between the Republic of Iraq and the connected countries.
Upon entering the verification code, the following documents will be automatically attached to the application:
Certificate of Origin (COO).
Commercial Invoice.
Bank Deposit Receipt for Government Fees (Required for non-preferential Certificates of Origin that are not exempt from government fees.)
Depending on the nature of the exported goods, you may be required to upload additional supporting documents, such as a Health Certificate, Veterinary Certificate, Packing List, Insurance Certificate, Bill of Lading, or any other relevant documents that support your application. Please ensure that these documents are uploaded to their designated fields under the Supporting Documents section on the Upload Documents page to ensure your application is complete and can be processed without delay.
Attestation fees are calculated based on the regulations of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade. The exact fee amount will be displayed after entering the document information and completing verification. All payments must be made electronically through the official payment gateways integrated with the Akkad platform. Manual or cash payments are not accepted.
Government Fees
$ 200 Per Attestation (Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice)
Electronic Service Fees (ESF)
$ 43.298 Per Attestation
note:
Fees may vary depending on the type of document and the number of copies requested
Registration: Log in to the Akkad platform using your account.
Application Submission: Enter the required application details, then select the appropriate Certificate of Origin type (Preferential or Non-Preferential).
Verification Number (If Available): If the original documents include a verification number issued by the electronic repository in the country of issuance, please enter it to enable electronic verification of the documents. If a verification number is not available, you may upload scanned copies of the original documents through the Upload Documents section, and the verification process will be completed in accordance with the applicable procedures.
Application Review and Payment: Review all application details and uploaded documents before completing the online payment through the available payment gateways. For Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (Re-export) that are subject to government fees, payment must be made via bank deposit, and the Bank Deposit Receipt for Government Fees must be uploaded with the required documents before submitting the application.
Application Confirmation: After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email containing the application's reference number (Application Number or Event Number), which can be used to track its status.
Verification and Attestation: The competent authorities will review the application and verify the submitted documents. If the documents have already been electronically verified, there will be no need to request an Issuance Verification.
Attestation Issuance: Once the review and attestation process has been completed, you will receive a notification confirming the issuance of the attestation. You will then be able to download the electronically attested document directly from the Issued Documents section of the system.
