Selecting the Certificate Type

When submitting the request, the applicant must select: "Preferential Certificate of Origin" The applicant must also ensure that the submitted certificate bears the League of Arab States logo.


Verifying the Trade Agreement

The applicant must confirm that the submitted certificate is subject to the applicable trade agreement between the exporting and importing countries.

Processing and Fees

The processing of preferential certificates depends on the applicable trade agreement, which may provide:

  • Procedural facilitation
  • Government fee exemptions or reductions

Depending on the agreement:

  • Government attestation fees may be reduced or waived
  • However, the applicant must pay the electronic service fee as indicated on the payment page



 Important Note:


Although preferential transactions may be exempt from government fees, the electronic attestation service is subject to a service fee of: USD 43.299 only or its equivalent in Iraqi Dinar

  • Being issued under a trade agreement framework
  • Containing marks or references to the applicable agreement
  • Including the League of Arab States logo
